160 years ago, in the late Edo period, Yamamoto Noriten was established. From humble beginnings, the family business has grown to become the country's leading supplier of 'nori'.

In 2009...Yamamoto Noriten has grown to the point where over 600 people are employed by the company.The head office is in the very heart of Tokyo's Nihonbashi, the centre and oldest part of the capital.

Across Japan, Yamamoto Noriten operate over 150 stores, offering nori ranging from everyday use to special gift presentations.
